Mr. Hair Gel Overgeller
Myself and (as of right now) 2 other home owners on my block are putting on a family-friendly pig roast Saturday September 5th. Our street will be blocked off from traffic from one entry street to the other. Permits have already been pulled from the city, the 9 home owners that will be effect by the street closure have already been informed and the necessary petition/docs have been signed, so we're green for go for this party.
The band "Powderkeg" will be playing live from 4:00pm-9:00pm. There will be roasted pig, kids activities, horseshoes (both real and "hillbilly") swimming (in 2 different pools), at least 3 bonfires, etc.
Family time will be from 1:00pm-10:00pm and adults only after 10:00pm.
We are not charging a cover charge. But...because we expect attendance will be pretty high, we just ask that you bring a dish to pass if you'd like to attend.
If you already know where I live, then great. Just PM, call, text, or email me letting me know you'd like to attend. BUT PLEASE STILL CONTACT ME ASAP! We need a ball park headcount to know how much of certain items we need to accommodate those attending. If you don't know where I live, please contact me for my info. Also, because we don't want to be sued, we're not made of money, and also because we don't have a liquor license that allows us to provide or sell booze/beer/alcohol, we ask that you BYOB.
We hope to see you there.
