That sucks and the driver wasnt too smart as he tried to swerve (sp) he could have killed both of them at 180mph eek...

what the hell, first who is crazy enought to do 110 in an exploder and second where do you work, and why are you driving at break neck speeds near turkey? I am sure it is devasting though!

I used to work at the proving grounds. we a had a special license to hunt deer all year cause we had way too many deer hits to count
 
How about hitting one at 500mph!!!

Bird strikes are very common on aircraft. The most unusual strike that I had to fix was on a Northwest airlines DC-9. I found a coyote head wedged in the left main gear splash shield.:icon_eek:

LOL!!!! no on runway 22-left at DTW, just as they touched down.

The full story:

The shift had just started, My gate partner was late (as usual! thank you Bill Bruton) My supervisor said the pilot had just called and said he hit something on the runway. I went out to the gate just as the plane was taxing in. i could see it as it rolled up the pilot came down to see it while I was looking for a broomhandle to disloge the severd head.

He said "I was just starting my flair to land when I saw him run out on to 22L.
He was growling at the plane as I was coming in (laugh) I guess I won."

About 3 minutes later the airport athority rolled up with a pickup and the rest of the carcass in the back of the truck. They said that they would dispose of the head. I asked them if they could come back for it in about an hour.

I then went to Bills locker and hung the head in his locker in a clear plastic bag. I put a note on it that said "don't be late again BITCH!"

I never heard a black man scream like that before:icon_mrgr
