Scrap tire disposal?

I have 7 or so scrap tires to get rid of. Is there any place downriver where I can get rid of them?
 
Most tire shops will take them but will obviously charge you a disposal fee. Also I believe Wayne County takes them like once or twice a year when they do the hazardous materials recycling day. Check with the city they may have a program to take them for a small fee.
