Who is making the quickest/fastest stock motorcycle nowdays? I am talking Q-mile. Shoot me some official, magazine numbers if you have them. ET, MPH, HP and weight numbers too.

As an ex-scooter racer, I am very interested! I am guessing it might be the new 1400 Kaw dethrowning the Hayabusa. I believe with a little work you can get the lighter 1000's very close to the big CC machines.

i think the gsx-r 1000 is faster in the 1/4 than a stock busa. but the busa has much more potential.

There was an arguement at a poker game one night about this. The Busa is faster in the 1/4 mile with magazine riders but only by a couple tenths. there ended up being a bet between the two guys arguing about it even. Pretty funny what people that like to gamble will put money on.

I agree. You would have to take the 100#+ off the 'Busa. That would be a good start.Throw on a larger rear sprocket, a sticky banzai rear tire and wheelie bar and you are approaching low 9's easy. Maybe faster. This would be using high RPM launches.

But all these ideas could be used on the 1000 also. It just has a huge weightadvantage stock to stock.

I fudgen wish I good buddy! My fat butt is about 65 pounds heavier then when I raced real seriously.

I think I would be happier with a cruiser nowadays! But no, no scoot for me.
Just lost my freaking job.
Gotta go, someone send me some MAGAZINE numbers.
