Go to the LS1 + cam thread... its a bunch of STREET CARS, WITH A/C, STOCK MOTOR, STOCK HEADS, with a cam, a couple of boltons and a tune.

The title doesnt say hey chevy guy these SBF's are faster then all your SBC's so come in and lets talk trash about each other. I have a street car WITH A/C, that WORKS. You wanna line that girl car up??

Just keep thinking that :thumbsup: lol. Main problem is the fact that i have a 21' demotivator in my driveway on the trailer ready to go out any sunny day now hahaha. I think its gonna be winter time before the blazer gets finished up now honestly.

It cracks me up that people will post shit like this. First of all, anyone who knows about this stuff knows the advantages and disadvantages of each platform. Anyone that would go out of their way to say that stock engine architecture designed in the late 50's is inferior to stock engine architechture designed in the 90's is an imbecile. This part is the funniest yet. You imply that the SBF is easly beaten in the 1/4 mile, yet reference a "dyno day" to back that up :lol:

That's typical "ls1 kid" speak there! If you go to Milan Dragway instead of a dyno day, you will see SBF cars pound the living shit out of LSx cars all day long. It's not because they are a superior architecture, but it really makes your post even dumber.

BTW, I suggest you catch the Motown Pinks episode. LS1 in a lighter and more aerodynamic car against an ancient SBF in a heavier car with the aero of a barn. What happened there??

I happen to own one of each of these and love them both for their own reasons, but I will say I bought the Chevy because my Ford was too fast for the street ;)

Well i got videos of me kickin the shit out of 2 vetts with my n/a 331 street car and 1 had a s/c on it. Look from the motown rentel mine is the gray mustang.
 
I have 1 of each a 1979 302 and a 2009 ls and I will say the Ls is a badass motor but my 1979 302 will drag that LS down the 1320 not bad for a low budget 30 year old 302 to a "up to date" top of the line motor
