SBF Timing cover open holes coolant leak

I cannot figure out why the highlighted holes are here. I've had to redo my waterpump gasket and it's leaking like a soab out of the passenger side. I did not have this problem my two other times I replaced the gasket. Did I miss sealing something on my gasket, or is this normal during the air bleed in the coolant?

I should clarify a bit, this is leaking between the block and these holes in the timing cover.

Correct.
I put it together with the new gaskets, tightened the bolts for the plate and bolted it to the timing cover. It sat overnight to for the rtv to cure.

I don't remember my original having them. I bought this from summit, dorman timing cover. It also had a dipstick hole in it ... It took me forever to figure out where I was leaking oil from this summer.

that is a stadard rotation pump cover. rev rotation dont have the holes i believe

Find an OEM one...Craigslist or here.

Yuppers wrong cover for rev rotation just went through this on a buddys car, Autozone sells the right one but the listing is strange have to look at the footnotes in the system for the right one
