This is what happens when you push too much boost through a stock latemodel 302 lower end.

one pass....i had some issues with it blowing out spark and i fixed that took it out and made a pass with it...and it made an constant 16 psi. and spiked at 18psi. just before the shifts...and at the top of third....boom. Kinda expected it to happen so im not too mad...I had plans to build a new 302 anyhow.

Did you go for a ride when you tried to hit the brakes or what?

luckily it was in an area that had a ton of room otherwise i would of been fucked trying to bring it down from 120+ with no vaccum in the braking system. Still was a little scary....

Vacuum/no vacuum doesn't matter if you're trying to stop on oil...did it go down the middle of the car or did it not come out for the most part? Mine was super scary cuz oil was EVERYWHERE.
