Saw my first C7 Corvettes on the street today

Seeing them in these pics makes me not a big fan......i will take a c6 over these......but i do love the c7 interior/dash layout better than the c6

Was it blue with a guy that looked like Howard Stern driving lol. I saw that one on M53 then M59 heading east about 4:30

I give them credit for trying to go modern, but there's just way too much going on with it for my tastes. It'd probably look pretty good in black to disguise some of the scoops/holes/gills.

Ha! That is Harlan Charles the product marketing manager of the corvette. That is funny.

I'm with those who just don't feel the derriere. The lamps looks great, I can even swallow the tears off them... but that boxy/blocky insert and all that bottom half jazz is out there.

Like every design change, it'll take me 2-3 years to get used to it. I hate the 4th Gen F-body and every Vette from the C4 to the C7 until I got used to them. Most of them i've grown to like.

I actually like the ass end...has a Ferarri look to it...different for sure.

I'll wait to see on around here.

Those were not out for fuel economy testing, all of that testing is done on dyno rolls with precise measurements of the emission(even in fe tests) I ran hundreds of those tests when I worked in development. They could have been out getting street miles for a variety of final checks and/ or troubleshooting, could be as simple as chasing a squeak. They may simply have been out for evaluation. Some engineers have favorite roads to evaluate, looking for whatever they are looking for. There are replicas of certain roads on the grounds for the ride guys. Sometimes we have drivers just out driving them to log miles. There's been a bunch of new GM pickups cruising Mound, saw some out there last night.

I see Chrysler vehicles out in groups all the time around Auburn Hills, especially on Telegraph, heck I saw some Dodge trucks with yes trailers in 75/Baldwin area this afternoon. One had a ballasted trailer with a 8'x5' flat panel to simulate the front of an enclosed trailer. See stuff all the time.

C5 base tires were 245 and 275 front rear, and those were Eagle F1's iirc. Not incredible tires, certainly by today's standards.

The Chryslers you see are from Roush ORTV Doing 3/36 testing-mileage accumulation. Roush just opened anotherfacility at 14/vandyke to do the same with GM's

looks like a viper, only the viper looks good. I like the C6. Maybe this will grow on me, or I'll hate it the more I see it like I do with the Camaro.

hopefully this design will only last a few years.. i have to say, gm has been hit or miss.. this is a miss for sure. it might be fast but its ugly.. just like the aztec had a purpose but ohhh god.

I saw a bunch of them all in a row. In Royal oak 12&main 13&Rochester. Three dark red and one was a cool blue.
Im just going to say it, I think they are butt ugly.

I thought the Stingray name was on the C7 generically. I don't believe it's any special package.

Yeah, it is. Personally I think it should have been a package, similar to the outgoing Gran Sport option on the base C6.
