CAR SHOW WEEKEND UPDATE
RELEASE DATE: TUESDAY MARCH 31, 2020
In an effort to protect the health of our entrants, judges, guests and spectators, we are watching the progress of COVID-19 day by day. The St. Ignace Car Show Weekend is still several months away, and we sincerely hope that we will be able to keep our date of June 25-28, 2020. Please check back with us in the days ahead and please, everyone stay safe.


I hope it goes off... and if it doesnt I'm glad I didnt pay my airb&b in full in advance ... I hear they are not refunding money
 
Nothing shocks me anymore. I’ve pretty much accepted that there won’t be anything going on for a few months. I wouldn’t be surprised if they cancel dream cruise. and that’s in August. 2020 is pretty much shot for summer social events.

If that happens I'm sure people will still flood Woodward. ROPD would have a field day handing out tickets though.
 
Cruising will be in full force this year. It's all you can really do and if there is food involved, it's essential travel. I can't wait.
 
If gas prices hold, I'm gonna cruise like theres no tomorrow!!!

(because there might not be)
 
Well yeah... Tomorrow isn't promised. We're bags of meat on a wet spinning rock. Sleep tight! Haha

You don't have to stay inside. I've been doing some bike riding
(44 miles the other day) and I'm seeing more people than ever
out walking (@ safe distances).
 
I just wish I could title and plate my station wagon. I insured it last week. I'm thinking about cruising around my sub with the title and insurance papers.

What other option do you have though? Insurance is the big part, you can probably argue anything else the cop could/would say.

I'm in a similar situation with my boat. Renewed the registration but idk if in getting the reg sticker anytime soon. I have a pic of the receipt and my insurance is current.

So the map posted is different from where it supposedly starts. I’m not familiar with the area, where exactly is Ford and E N Hines? Is it by U of M Dearborn? Then cruise westbound? I’m keeping this in mind, kind of weather dependent, but also dependent on if my wife is working or not. Only have to put the battery back in and change the oil if I’m clear.
