It takes us about 2 hours to get there. My parents have a place up there, so it's kinda nice to get away. No more cars. I just got rid of the Cutlass we had. I was trying to see if I could run 10's dirt cheap, but I think the car only made it to the strip about 3 times in 3 years, so we sold it.

Sweet! See any supercharged 427 powered sand rails there?
Rumor has it, that rail is waaaaaay too fast for the track!
 
Mine is a pretty mild 427 SBC that was built for nitrous. It sees a lot of street use, so I didn't want to get too crazy. Dads is a 434 with GM 18* heads. He doesn't street drive his, so he makes a little more power.
Neither Jeep has a very good setup, which is why they flex so bad. Both have the cage tied into the front frame, but the rear is just bolted to the body. We both need to look into some chassis work.
