Same Place of work as your "Significant Other"?

I dont know how people do it and are able to make this work? :dontknow:

I ask because there are quite a few (including my brother) here at work that do it and some of them even drive to/from work and have lunch together!!! I would go CRAZY.....:icon_mrgr
 
Spent two years at Wixom with my wife. Loved every minute! Got to go to lunch with her everyday. And covered each others ass when it was in the frying pan. It was nice to see a friendly face when you were "having the screws put to you." Wish I could go back to it.
 
Worked with alot of X's. :lol:

I use to bang all the new chicks @ the dealership. I use to play the "family owns the place" card :D

The chick I'm dating now use to work for us, but she just got a new job. Can't wait for the replacement :naughty:

The wife worked for me for a few years as my office manager / book keeper.
It worked for a while, but started to wear thin. It was nice paying the
$25,000 to my own household though!
 
I met my wife at work. It has its goods and bads IMO. I hated walking up to her desk everyday watching some jackass sitting there on her desk(the corner) talking to her trying to run their game or whatever the hell they were doing. It was always funny because she would just get up in the middle of there conversations and walk out with me to go to lunch and these dicks would just look at me.

p.s., I would NEVER do it again.
 
It's capable of working, but personally I couldn't do it. It's important to have time away from your spouse.
 
You can't be jealous. That's for sure. I work a car dealership. We are ALL whores.

lol yeap jealousy doesn't work. I worked with 1 girl I dated, wouldn't do it again.. The rest were umm "coming attractions" lol

EXACTLY!!!!! In the beginning of a relationship its great. I t was even better since we were working nights, and we had all day together. 5 months into that shit and I was like WTF get off of me already, lol.


PLus, you will find out that all you do it talk about work, since thats all you really do together. My wife and I dont really talk about work much anymore, since she DOESNT, and well I dont get paid to talk about it at home.
 
I met my wife at work also, I left the job after it was obvious it was going to be a permanent thing. IMO it would suck to work with your wife.
 
My biggest problem with the assholes that would hit on her was that they had zero respect for me since they knew she was with me. I only had problems with one of them that almost resulted in him getting hurt and me getting fired.

See I just blew it off if someone was hitting on her. I'm not the jealous type. I figure if she was gonna cheat it wouldn't matter if I was around of not. She would have found a way.

This wasnt a jealousy moment, I am not the jealous type either. This was something different. Nothing to do with her, just him. I am a firm believer in RESPECT.

I understand the Respect thing, but I work with 98% male salespeople. Some are married and some aren't. They are all pretty much whores. It seems like a dealership thing.

Its the same in a office also. Id imagine in a dealership, you all think you are king shit when a new customer walks in, even more so when a fine female walks through the door. Then you get the little 19 year olds who process the forms also.

MAtt, you seem like a pretty stand up guy, but for the most part everytime I have bought a new car, after I signed the paperwork I almost wanted to invite them outside to beat the fuck out of them...lmao

Maybe next time Ill just buy a ford and you can give me the motown discount, lol.
