rust on a car door, best to take the door off?

Could be a stone chip that get corroded. What kind of car? Color, extent of rust etc.

If you want it to match you will need to take the whole car in for proper color matching and blending.
 
Pics always help, depending on how accelerated the rust is it could be comin from the inside too. What kind of Chrysler is it?
