Selling it for a buddy of mine, says its all wooden body, with baynette, paid $2,500 when ol' Billy was in office and is looking to get back $250 anyone intrested let me know...I dont know what these things go for either..??

Not trolling your thread BG but I always thought the SKS rifles were known to be on the low end of the price scale. Then again most SKS' I've seen or shot were from China or east europe so maybe the Russian version is worth more. I'm sure Postban or someone else will chime in.

I know gun prices have shot up due to OB. I wish I invested in guns instead of the stock market last year!

Good luck with your sale and I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of the gun.
 
My father bought a china SKS a few years back for $100.00, it fun to shoot. The stock wasn't pretty and it was packed with cosmoline. Spelling?

Yugo M59/66 A2 - rifle fired nade launcher, bayonet, flip up night sights, brand new packed in the cosmo, for $150 at any gun show.

The Russian should pull $200 because of the nicer stock.... pics?

The ones from China are junk. Yugo's are better, and IIRC the Russians have the nicest stock.
 
Russian SKSs go for about 200-350$ right now. There is no way he is gonna get his money back if it really was 2,500$ Unless its fully auto.
 
I dont have pics, I will ask him again, but im almost 100% positive he said $2500. I will see what all the specs are ect...
 
I asked him to look at a few online, he said this is exactly what his looks like, like I said I dont know much about this gun except what he has told me and wants for it, he said he bought it when Clinton was in office and at that time he paid 2500 and wants 2500, he said he never shot it ect...just collecting it.

not trying to be a jerk but they had one identical to that one at the gun and knife show at gibraltor this past weekend for $450 but hey if someone will pay him 2500 more power to him

well im not trying to be a dick either, I hate trying to sale something for someone else, I dont think if you buy something it should stay the same price if your trying to resale it, unless its something rare or limited, but this gun is everywhere!
