Royal Oak police taking zero tolerance policy with Woodward cruisers this summer

I was going to say the same thing - as opposed to the normal "one tolerance" or "two tolerance" they usually show?

The crowd that is out there now pretty much deserve this. Though it ruins it for the rest of us.
I dont even go now with the kids that are out there now, sitting on rev limiters, racing from stop light to stop light etc. Then just the flat out disrespect for the business's around. The parking lots are always trashed after they leave, just shit everywhere.
Its not what it used to be, no level of respect.

I thought millennials and Gen Z aren’t into cars anymore. Who are these culprits?
 
ROPD was out about an hour ago placing traffic cones in front of all angled parking spots in front of businesses.

300 cars ... we fill every restaurant in town...Clare, Sault Saint Marie,Gaylord,West Branch ... Bay City ....rolling out the red carpet

all I ever hear is what a hassle it is to go anywhere and do anything in Royal Oak ... Yet .. every place is full every weekend....

avoid Royal Oak ... spend your money else where watch how fast they change their tune

I'm down for that, helluva lot closer to home. Just look like a creaper with all the high schoolers out there the last time i rolled through on my way home from Woodward. We need the Dunkin to come back to 12/Gratiot. Or find a friendly business that will allow us to quietly utilize the parking lot.

My uncle owns the Gratiot Pub at 14 1/2 and Gratiot. He says cruisers are welcome to hang in his lot
