Roofing company recommendatoins...

I need a reputable company to come look at my house that has given me hell the pass 4 years from the roof. The original design of the flat roof off the back of the house sucks and is cause major issues with ice damning and leakages during winter time... Twice now I have had to rip apart my kitchen/dinning room because of this mess... As much as I want to hire the one man show or small mom and pop shop I need someone who I hold accountable if they fuck up and this isn't fix right for the final time...
 
I had a company called Oakes Roofing do mine 2 years ago. They also did my parents about 10yrs ago and my wife's parents about 6yrs ago. I have about 1,000sq ft house and roughly 12x20 addition with a semi flat roof on the back of my house. They had to completely rip off the plywood on the addition and re sheet it all. He explained to me why whoever joined the house to the addition was an ass. He asked how I wanted it all fixed. I told him I'm 30yrs old and to pretend I'm going to retire in this house. He laughed and said no problem. I had a 50yr 3D shingle put on the house with a "low slope roof" put on the addition. It's the same color and style/texture as the shingle on the house. But it is a glue down commercial style roof. They did everything for about $5,000 cash 3 weeks before my wedding 2yrs ago. If you mention you can pay cash it'll save you a few hundred dollars.

A few years ago I did a LOT of research to replace my roof.
I got 13 bids! Mr. Roof was by far the best all-around deal.

I have a detailed report I wrote that I can send you if you like.

I'm no roof expert, but if you're having "ice damning", you might
have an insulation problem. Without enough attic insulation
the rising heat melts the roof snow, refreezes causing the ice
damming.
 
I have a customer that's self employed repairing roofing... He pops by my shop once every couple years & inspects mine and makes necessary repairs. I really like him and what hes done. Ill PM you his cell. His name is George Burcar.

There's plenty of insulation... It's the air flow that's the huge problem...
