Is anybody going to this? It is $100 and I think it starts at 3pm. As long as my converter shows up today, I'm planning to be out there making the best of some cool weather and a prepped track. Hopefully some 8.40's will be possible if the track hooks well enough.

If anybody is out, come by and say hi. I suspect we will be the only FWD car there.

I ended up with 8.606 at 163.6mph. The track was a bit on the cold side to hook, especially as soon as the sun went down. Next pass was on its way to an 8.5x, but I had to lift at the 1000' when the car got a little loose.

What did you guys end up getting? It sounded like a lot of the big boys were striking the tires badly and not able to make passes.
