Looking for a nice used road bike. I would prefer trek or specialized but am open to other options.

Thanks. My Cannondale is a 60cm, and that's as small as I could go. I tried a 58cm, but ended up buying the 60.

Sweet looking bike!
 
Might be a little tall, 54 is gonna be short for longer trips, go to a professional bike shop and have them fit you it will make all the difference in the world
 
I'd have gotten a 62 if they'd offered one. 5'11" on a 58 should be perfect. Unless you're running the Tour de France, you don't want to be too cramped.
 
ok, thanks for the info! I went to my local bike shop but the guy was not helpful and barely even said a word to me. I walked into his shop with cash and left with cash.
 
Here's my vintage 1986 Cannondale SR1000. I bought it new, and after thousands of miles, it still rides great! Just had it out last weekend.

Very nice bike Jim. I've started biking again.
So far this summer my best week I've rode
65 miles, my best day was 26 miles.

A few years ago I was averaging 100 miles
a week, with my best day being 41 miles.
