Rim and tire mount (need help)

I had seen on another forum a few people mount a 195-45-17 yokohama tire on a 17x4.5 rim and use it as kind of a skinny tire. According to the spec's this should be mount on a 6 inch width rim, but the guy I chatted with told me they fit great so I got a pair because they were only 100 bucks a tire.

Today I took they to a well know race tire shop to get them mounted and they could not get the rear bead to seat to the rim. It just would not pop into place.

Is there anyone out here know of a place or them self that could get these tires mounted on the wheels.

At this point I am not even sure if this was a good idea as in safe?

Anyone have a cheetah tire blaster they would rent to me?

sounds like amateur hour at this race shop. I lost my job awhile back and went back to discount tire. I can tell you this wont be hard to mount up. It sounds alittle wide for the width of the wheel but hey bring them to any dtire and they will mount them up.

Belle tire got the mounted. For some reason one took about 5 mins to get on the other about 1/2 hour lol. I will get some pics

There Is more sidewall than I expected. They look good.
