I like to try to repurpose things when I'm bored. I'm definitely not a professional but I do think it turned put pretty cool. Here's a coffee table I made. The ad below is copied from my craigslist ad.

Vintage industrial metal cabinet coffee table. All of the drawers open and are great for storage. I found this an old barn it was rusty and crusty. I sanded it and put three coats of clear on it to protect the beautiful patina. Then added a beautiful piece of wood and wheels to it to make this a one of a kind piece of furniture.

Overall dimension 41" across x 21" deep x 17" high

I'm asking $300.00 on craigslist I will sell it on here for $200.00.

Located in Clinton Township off of Metro parkway near groesbeck.

Pm or call/text if your interested (586) 944-six six one six

Looks good man...real good.

A word of critism? Get rid of the wheels that don't look like they belong, and put some sort or wood legs on it....or even some sort of aged brass to match the hardware.

Thanks for the compliments guys and the criticism. I do agree with you it would've looked better legs instead of wheels. I put the wheels on it because its heavy. I'm guessing 60 lbs. I just figured it would be easier when vacuuming a room and need to move it. But if it don't sell the way it is I might change it over to some kind of legs instead.

Find some legs off a similar age cart. We have thousands of steelcase card catalogs and E cabinets going to salvage all the time. I thought about doing the same.

If it had matching legs or wheels and I had a way to pick this up I would be all over it. Sold my truck though.

Some lady that seen it on craigslist came over Saturday night and gave my wife a $50.00 deposit. She said she would be back Sunday morning no later then 11:00 am to pick it up. We have not heard from her since. We tried calling her several times and sent her numerous text.

find some vintage wheels???

I have been watching Ebay for a nice set of reasonable priced ones to come up that will work on it. I haven't had any luck yet.

I took the wheel off and painted the bare metal on them a brass color. I think it did make it look a better until I find some vintage wheels.
