Replacing engine 02 mustang this weekend. Any words of advice?

Going to remove the knocking 4.6 from my 02 gt this weekend and replace with another. Anyone have words of advice they would like to share that might help me in my process?

Does it have headers or manifolds?

Long tubes are a huge pain to remove/install with the engine in. Pull the hood and there should be some lift points to strap the engine hoist to.

I'm not sure if they are all the same but I had to use like a 21mm plug on my 2003 Cobra, got it from a plumbing store.

^I think I found a NPT acorn nut at the Depot that fit perfect. I was walking around isle 8 with an exhaust manifold lol
Get a buddy to come over and take your time when you drop the new one in.

Those starter bolts will be the worst part.
