Replaced Headlight, Still Not Working

Driver side low beam went out on me, so I replaced it and I still get nothing. Thought it might be the bulb so I tried it on the passenger side headlight and it worked. Is there a fuse for the drivers side low beam or something? The running lights work fine, parking lights good, hi-beams on both sides work fine, it is just the driver side low-beam that I can't get to work right. I thought maybe a fuse but i find it hard to believe there is just a fuse for the driver side low-beam. I checked the wiring (of all I could see) and the connection and it doesn't look corroded or torn. Any ideas?

Mabye a dumb question, but is it a halogen bulb? Is the replacement bulb good (does it work in the other side)?

Did you touch it with your fingers?

They are silverstar's and I checked to make sure the new bulb wasn't bad by switching them and they both light up. So I am guessing it's something else like maybe a fuse or wiring.

Sounds like a bad socket or ground splice. Here is the low beam diagram.

Im gonna have to agree with Sean, most likely it's going to be a ground. Get out the good ole voltmeter and start checking.

I went over the schematics. The DRL unit powers both headlamps from the same ciruct. I would suspect a broken splice. the splice/connections numbers are as follows.splice s173, connector p100,c201 and the 2 fuese in the underhood fuse block. j6/j7 and h11/h10. The low beams are feed by 2 fuses. One for each side. I would not have a hard time seeing a bad fuse cuasing the problem.

Those fuses are in the headlamp assembly or in the fuse under the hood?
