What is the easiest method of removal. I have heard of a hot air gun but was wondering what you guys liked to do. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

What kind of sound deadener? Like Dynamat? If so, then yes, heat it up real well in 1 foot sections and it should lift right up with a little persuasion. Then clean up the residue with acetone.

Dry Ice... You put dry ice over the sound deadener... Let it sit for 5 minutes... Remove the dry ice and take a hammer and smack it... It shatters and comes right up...

This works great!

I've also sprayed the floor with a nitrous bottle and it did the same thing but dry ice is cheaper lol

its the stuff the came on the floor pan from the factory. Dry ice sounds fun. Reiko any tricks to it or is it as simple as it sounds?

It's simple as it sounds... Just please don't grab dry ice with your bare hand...

Meijers has dry ice...

You can use the left over dry ice; smash it up, put about two cups in a pop bottle with a lil less than a cup of water, cap it and throw it in your neighbors backyard.:gr_stretc

i used a torch and a scraper make sure your doors are open cause the fumes own but that sound deadining shit is heavy i had about 3 5 gal buckets full of it when i was done a good 50 60 pounds
