Remote starter remote missing

I had a remote starter installed on my 2003 Venture van when it was new. The company that installed it went out of business. I have a reciept but no brand name of the company that built the remote starter, and I have lost the remote for it. Any ideas on which direction to go to get another remote?
 
Will the unit be under the dash, or under the hood? I know they had to wire one of my extra keys into the system.
 
Saturday I found a guy who knew a guy who knew what system I had by looking at the antenna. He sent me to another guy and $30 later I have a new remote, programmed & out the door. Thanks to all that chimed in here, I appreciate the help.
 
can you still get a hold of him? my truck has a remote start from 99 that I would like a remote for, and see if it works

Marlon was his name, don't remember his last name. He said he'd been installing remotes for a while and he seemed to know his stuff.
 
BTW, I just found the remote on the company website, on sale for $65, another site had it listed for $40. he charged me $30 and he programmed it as well.
