Is there any reliable oil change shops on the Eastside? One that I won't have to worry about them double gasket or tightening the oil plug wrong. Thanks

12 and Little Mack, B&K quick lube... Couple old guys been there for like 20 years.. Not bad price and they have their up charge routine but not over aggressive like other places..
I think they have another location on 16 and Harper

Few people I know use Uncle Ed's in the shores and are happy with the service.
Uncle Ed's Oil Shoppe, 28820 Harper Ave. 772-1480

I have no clue of the service as I change my own oil, but I wouldnt think I'd been lied to from those I know that go there.

Whatever you do, don't go to Fast Track at 15 and Utica Rd. Jim sold the place some years back and they're terrible now.

Mobil 1 express on van dyke bet 21 and 22 mile. Been going there for years with no issues. Guys are cool and appreciate nice cars

Id say no to these guys.... my bro went there to get his a headlight bulb replace ($20 cash) couple days later the bulb was dangling around the engine bay so he went back and the manager asked for a receipt.... my bro said he didnt get one and he paid 20 bucks cash to the guy standing next to him... long story longer, guy denied taking the cash or ever seeing my brother.... my brother was about to beat the crack heads ass, my bro left, cops were waiting at his house when he got home

When I don't have time to do mine myself I go to the BP gas station at Moravian and Utica Rd. I just tell them basic oil change I don't need them to check my air filter, wipers etc. I think I paid $20.00 last time. Anytime I do visit an oil change place I always check my oil level again as soon as I get home.

Not 100% sure if the positive services recieved was just oil, oil filter, air cleaner, and wipers only or expanded to other stuff like headlight bulbs. I usually am the guy doing the bulb or electrical related stuff.

I would stay away from this place at all costs. They are over priced and do bad work. My fiance took her car there with out telling me and they broke both clips off the air cleaner and said nothing. I discovered it later down the line and they said they were not responsible for the repairs.

Very poor cs. Glad I (can) do my own maintenance.

Cool. Never met him. Usually it's Brian working the lane.

Another nope from me. Wife took her car there the day after I checked the oil level. They told her she was 1.5 qts low and needed an engine flush. Expensive oil changes and a model to upsell every chance they get. Skip them.

Those quick lube places are getting ridiculously expensive with the newer cars. I think the new Silverados take 7 or 8 quarts of dexos approved oil. Probably pay a $100 at a quick lube type place. I would actually try the dealer first if you have something newer with a 6+ quarts system.

True!
I take my Pathfinder to the dealer all the time... $30 and I get a mini detail for free.. Can't even do it myself for that low of price.
