red brake light on lightning

i have a 2000 lightning and i got a red brake light that came on and was wondering does this mean i need fluid or does it mean i need new pads and rotors. im new to this truck and dont really know anything about it yet.

yeah im an idiot lol it was the parking brake lol i just got this truck and it seems like i got it right as things all happened to be goin bad so i guess i just assumed it was something bad. but im glad it was only that thanks for all the help guys.
