Recomendations for good detailing shops?

I am looking to get our 03 Mach detailed. I am pretty new when it comes to detailing equipment and products but am in the process of learning about them as well as techniques. I am considering rounding up equipment and materials and doing the whole car myself but at the same time, I am slightly intimidated by the job at hand due to the lack of knowledge. The paint is in pretty good shape given its age, my main issue is trying to get some of the scratches out of it. While I am debating doing it myself or taking it in, can anybody recommend a good place to take it in? Any idea what kind of price a detail shop would charge? I would be doing the full process with a clay bar, compound, polish, sealant.

Thanks!

I've been wet sanding and rubbing cars sice the mid 90s when I owned my own shop prior to working at Rouge steel. Even though I can do the job myself, mark at auto lavish is coming out to wet sand and rub my car. He is by far the best I've seen, hands down.

Thanks for the kind words. Congrats on the Mach1 OP!

Sounds like you may be interested in doing some things yourself. Read the "Ask AutoLavish" thread linked in my signature to begin your journey down the rabbit hole.

As for my work, I'm currently 2-3 weeks out (I can only do a car at a time), but 100% of my clients are awesome folks who have me get their car looking right, and then work to maintain that look. If you're looking for something quick with a budget of a couple of hundred dollars, I won't be the one you'll hire, but I can certainly help you with honest car care advice. Good luck!
