Rebuilding the coupe!

I did really like the black, but it was a toss up between black and the new color when it was painted last time. Since every panel needed paint this time except for the driver's door, I figured it's a good time to change things up a bit and give the car a little more visual "pop".

I looked up the color today. NICE!

great job keep up the good work. sorry to hear about the car but your doing an amazing job to get it back to perfect again. i love your car theres tons on detail that the average person looks over.

Good work Joe! Car looks like youi'll be turnin' and burnin' by the time our weather permits.

Not enough guys gave props to your wife!! Building a car of that caliber, then doing it AGAIN in such a short time takes an understanding spouse!! NOT that car projects EVER cause any marital friction....

Haha! I showed Sheri this comment and it made her night. Nothing like a few extra points to help the project along!

+1 to you!

Here's an update from tonight. The final touches were put on the engine bay, and wet sanding has been started on the body. Every panel for the car is now ready for final blocking and paint! The plan is to get the shell in color possibly by next weekend so i can start the reassembly process, and Mike will finish up the other body panels over the following weeks until we get everything hung in place.

Looks great Joe!!! Your body/paint does great work, glad to see someone else with attention to detail!!

Thanks, Mike has been great and I'm learning alot as we go. It's tough to find someone who shares the same "vision" of your project as you, and I'm glad I was able to get him aboard for the repair work.

BTW, I still have that paint sample in my toolbox at work for you! Give me a call and I'll try to meet up one day.

OK Joe is it a single color or more than two colors? looks good.

Just a single color again. My last four race cars have either been red or black, so it's time for a change. Plus, it would be hard to compete with the beautiful black paint on Syd's coupe!
