I went from a 2.73 gear one tire fire 7.5 rear end. stock rubber control arms, stock rubber upper control arms, stock rubber axle housing bushings. to a posi 8.8 rear end, with poly axle housing bushings, solid/hemi UPR double adjust control arms, and poly/hemi megabite jr lowers and a 4.10 gear. I drove my car, and its making a ton of vibration. it almost seems like something isnt right. on the accel, there isnt much noise, on the decel, THE ENTIRE car vibrates from the rear end. Like the axles are about to fall out, or the gear is lose, its a horrible sound. Idk, maybe its just all in my head, maybe im just not used to 4.10, with all the hard bushings and solid bushings. any help would be great, i know its hard to trouble shoot VIA internet, but work with me here.

thanks, i really appreciate any help.

Does the 7.5 and 8.8 take the same size drive shaft universal ? (IDK)
If not this could cause a vibration, maybe a step joint is needed ?

idk, im pretty sure the driveshaft is the same. the bolt right up, and the yolk is only sticking out like and inch and a half.

Pull that aftermarket stuff off your car and reinstall your stock uppers/ lowers. That should get you back to "normal" with your pinion angle and will give you a starting point to help figure out what is going on. The poly bushings don't transmit "that much" noise/ vibration. Yes they will transmit some as they are harder and they don't absorb the drivetrain and suspension vibration as well as the mushy factory rubber bushings did.

did you set the pinion angle when you installed all the new suspension? Might need to get that checked to make sure it is set right.
