That would be crazy! although you can get a good pit going at pine knob the way its set up.
 
Think bonfires and mob torches on the hill.
Ever see an old Frankenstein movie where the mob is hunting for the monster
with pitch forks and torches. It was filmed at the Knob that night.
Ever seen a few acres of sod stripped to bare dirt and transported to a stage
by the act of throwing in the course of two songs? It happened to the hill
that night. Mustaine stopped the second song midstream to say and I quote
loosely, "If one more fucking piece of turf hits this stage we're fucking out of here!"
I was about 6 rows down into the pavilion seating and we had our coats over our heads.
You couldn't turn around and look without dirt and rocks and shit pelting you in the face
out of the darkness. It was complete mayhem. The security staff was hiding behind the pillars.
Other than that, it was a great show!:rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot:
 
I don't know any other band that can instantly put me in sucha hyper-energetic mood like pantera! RIP THE GREAT ONE! Black Tooth!

to this day still a personal fav...I still like Phil after all the shit he pulled. His voice still rocks and he looks like he has carried on with DOWN. Still doesnt compare though!

Kick Ass. Agreed about Pantera being the best metal band. Phil has got that I'll kick your ass mentality when he sings. You guys ever check out Superjoint Ritual? It's another one of Phil's side projects.

I have i fallow phil and the rest f the pantera gang pretty close. Super joint doesnt touch Down. Also phis has yet another side project going on call "Arson Anthem" If you, you tube it you can find a few things. It weird hes the guitar player in the band and doesnt sing at all. Ill be honest i dont really dig it too much but i kinda do cuz i like what else phil does.

I'm with you on following the offspring bands of pantera, didnt know about arson anthem though..I did like Damageplan alot. Hell Yeah not so much. I hated Viking crown and necrophagia.
