Agreed. I think thats only workable if it is someone you know will come through for you. :dontknow: most won't.

Oh and the chimey thing? Some people are fckin nuts. Jeeps now chime when you dont have your seatbelt on too, so my dad gets in the jeep and drives down the road cursing with the chime intervals and refusing to put the belt on.

I think I'm going to find him someone who can cut the wire ;) I tell him to leave it fastened and just sit on it...

Good luck. My car was hit and run in a parking lot a few months back. At least you are in the position to grab her by the short n curlies and twist if need be.

And dont hurt the SUV. It is her bfs, and its not the jeeps fault that it was driven by an idiot.
 
#1 reason I have broad form coverage. if it's less than 50% my fault, no deductible.

He came >this< close to losing his life in a car wreck when he was younger. If he had been wearing a seatbelt, he woulda been crushed when the car flipped.

cops can give you a ticket on private property. As long as it's open to the public. That cop didn't want any paper work.

You need to get an estimate and take it to her and make her sign it with a witness so she is committed to pay for the repairs.

Cops CANNOT issue a violation on private property, they can only assign fault

You can shut the chime off... I did it to JohnQuick302's truck... And other cars...
 
Only the limited commanders, and 4.7s have that unless its ordered like that, and if you ever try to see a focus threw that back window and with the rear seat up and dont hit it thats like a accomplishment. Sorry about your car hope you dont gotta pay the 1000 somhow.
