A Pumpmaster is a "toy" for backyard plinking, it's good for shooting cans and paper, not pests. Try a Weihrauch HW80, Beeman R1 Super Magnum, or Diana 350 Magnun. Enough power to drop pests inside of 100yd. They are the best break action air rifles out there, made in Germany. I have a Diana 34, same power plant as the 350, just a shorter barrel so it's a bit less powerful.
