That they are. I traded my blaster for an 03 a couple years ago. It ran like shit and stalled when I shook it side to side (im sure thats why he traded). All I had to do was fix the carb float and the thing ran like a beast. I ended up removing the air lid, re-jetted the carb. That alone gave me a good bump in power for almost no money.
