The side tanks on our Camaro are junk. The one with the radiator cap in it is cracked. I have a friend with a radiator he said he'd give me but its for an automatic car. Our Camaro is a manual. I doubt it would, but would it hurt anything by just not running lines to the fittings at the radiator? Like its not going to trap hot air in there and cause the car to run hot or anything, will it? It's not that I'm too cheap to get new tanks put on this radiator but its a lack of time. I can replace a radiator in an hour or two but pull it, take it in, wait for it to be fixed, and come home and install it costs me time. Time that I don't have working 7 days a week.
