I have 2- 275/40-17 Goodyear GS-CS

4- 315/35-17 Goodyear GS-CS (didnt feel like getting a new set of rims to fit them.)

and 4- BF Goodrich 275/40-17 that were used as a rain tire.

I am not sure how safe they are with the cracked rubber...all four are like that.

Going to start a tire fire with them if I still have them in one week.

nice job on giving them away for free! Those 275's have been run very hard and have been very hot at some point.
 
Those cracks are from age I would think. If you can get dot numbers off of the side I can tell you how old they are. Anything over 5 years I would not use for any highspeed driving. Dot number on Bfg should be 12 letters and numbers combined.
 
I picked up the 275's from Alex a few days ago and they will be used for short course auto-x so if one blows ill end up hitting a cone and not a wall... They do have dry cracks but nothing im too worried about for lower speed auto-x.

The GS-CS have been run very hot but judging by the wear strip in the middle they should have some life left in them, quite a bit actually once i blow the marbles off of them. if I find a set of wheels ill have to bring them by to have you mount them!
