Question...

The word, "TAKEN," should it be used for 2 people who are NOT married?

  • "TAKEN" only applies to married people.

  • "TAKEN" can apply to both MARRIED and DATING couples

Who considers DATING and MARRIED as basically the same thing when talking about if someone is "TAKEN" or "AVAILABLE?"

And if you do consider "TAKEN" as an acceptable term for someone in a DATING relationship, then how long would two people have to be dating for that term to really apply?

i dont consider them the same thing persay. I do however take a relationship as that person only..and thus leaving it as unavailable. I dont go and date someone..and look for other hook-ups. Im specific to that person and thats it. If you wanna go for random hook-ups or are "looking" for someone every time your out..go be single. Relationships, married or not..are about being faithful and honest to the person your with.
 
Depends on what is agreed upon "Between" the two who are together.

Married = TAKEN

When I was DATING my now wife we both agreed that we were commited - (so TAKEN)

When I was just SEEING her in the begining then we were not serious - (so NOT TAKEN - just havin fun)

when u get the gf/bf title then i'd consider someone taken, until then, it's just dating lol

I have used TAKEN, SPOKEN FOR, OFF THE MARKET, etc. But there are people that would use the words FAIR GAME!:wink:

I agree. If you are serious about someone, you are true to them. That is how the relationship builds.
 
All I hear in this thread is Blah Blah Blah I don't want my GF,Wife,Fuck buddy to cheat on me. If you are give'n it to her right she won't stray. If she does, shame on you for not doing it first :D
