Question for anyone familiar with FAST engine management

I have a fast classic system on my typhoon, the truck sat all winter, battery died. Finally got around to getting the battery charged and the truck wouldn't hold an idle. My question is that due to the truck sitting for a while and the battery being dead, is it possible for the computer to forget the tune?

Nope.if it did. Thats pretty unreal.The tune is saved in anon volital flash eprom. Would be fiarly unlikely unless it got hit with a massive EMP or ESD

No, I've taken one out of a box that sat on a shelf for years and the tune was still in it.

thanks for the quick replies guys, I didn't think it would lose the tune but just wanted to cross it off of the list of possibilities. I hooked my old laptop up to the truck, the parameters seem to be as I remember them.

yes, but haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet. I'm going to check that and see if anything else could have gotten gunked up

Yes, it seems to run fine above idle speeds. i adjusted the idle vs coolant temp a little just for kicks and it wouldnt idle at anything under 1300
