quad shocks with 10.5's on back? anyone running um? pros and cons...

They are meant to prevent wheel hop with soft factory bushings. If you have arms that are solid or poly bushings then the quad shock is not needed

10.5's hit the quad shock on my sn95 car, had to remove them.

But as stated they are useless with aftermarket control arms.

Yup,if you have control arms toss the quad shocks in the trash..If you don't have battle boxes for the torque boxes, make sure you get some before putting a tire on it...

Not to hijack but what wheel width and backspacing are you using when your tires hit?

i have AFS 03 Cobra knock offs, not sure on the back spacing...

with a 10.5 wheel, if your not hitting the quad shock, then are you extended past the fender at all?
is the car in the air and the rear hanging?

If you put aftermarket arms top and bottom, you don't need the quads.
My rear wheels are 17 X 8 with SN axles, so I have TONS of room. I still tossed them!

That just means I'll need an axle swap and some North brackets before I can upgrade the rolling stock in any significant way.
I must be nuts to even WANT to spend good money on nicer wheels and tires! Have you seen the roads?!?!?!?
