Oh what a day/night. I was out lake hopping all day with some friends on snowmobiles, Then i had to go and do a clean up push at this kroger/Lot I plow that is out in utica. So I got done in a pretty decent amount of time, about 2:20 I'm heading home down M-59. I'm cruise'n through downtown ponticrack and just as I'm passing the loop and going under the railroad viaduct (sp?) I see a sheriff's cruiser up on the sidewalk/into a snowbank.

First thought in matts head "must be chasing some crack head..." But as their lights are out of my sight I notice they are not moving, so i bust a U'ey and head back, I roll down my window "you guys need a tug?"... "yeah my partner here got a little overzealous with the skinny pedal" :lmao:

I get behind them and pull out my tow strap "livingston county, you boys are a long way from home 'eh?" .... "yeah prisoner transport" I yanked them out and I'm still laughing about it. the one guy told me he probably wouldn't have heard the end of this at the station had i not pulled them out. :hitfan:

nice...its nice there are people out there like you matt. i keep a tow strap in my truck all the time for the same reason

Yea after I pulled up I asked if they had a strap or anything (I imagined they would since they have everything else packed in a cop car) but they replied...ehhh ummm....No.... No worries, I got my own. Just figured I would use yours first

So did you get their name / number for future reference ;)

yeah  he tried giving me whatever cash he had on him. I told him i've got away with some pretty dumb shit in my youth, i couldn't take it. He did give me his card/name/number, said if I ever get a ticket for something like speeding or whatnot, just give him a call and tell him I'm the guy that pulled him out of the snowbank :)

+1 to you for helping someone out. Especially since he was on the job never know you could have save him in that respect too.

I keep a tow strap in the mustang just incase Al gets his fingers stuck in his over gelled hair. I can asist him in pulling them out..........
