Projector TV bulb replacement

Anyone ever done it? My father in-law has one, it's probably 10-11 years old and the bulb is going. He doesn't have a lot of money, so I was going to try & replace the bulb for him. It can't be that hard, right? I figure it's worth a shot.

Yea. It’s easy. Just make sure it’s cool. Just follow instructions. Wear gloves

This. There should be an access panel on the rear. Pop it off and the bulb should be fairly easy to get to.

Just replaced the bulb in my dads old 65" Shitsubishi. Took a whole 15 seconds. I suggested we wheel it out back and put a few magazines of 7.62x39 through it, but he thinks he needs one of those brainwash boxes. In due time...

Get a good one....don't get a cheap one. My dad goes through one every year on his 65 mitsu....it's a snap. Also get one with the housing...makes it easier.
