Yeah, another notch fox on Motown. Didn't want to stick out in a crowd. Picked this up last fall, going to be a slow going project as this time around I'm only paying cash for the parts.

Original TX car w/134k mile. 5.0 5 speed car. Looks to have been in a fender bender once but nothing serious.

Yeah, sold that white AZ 2.3 notch to my old man so I could get a 5.0 5spd to putt around in this year while I save the money for a real engine. It will be at the mud bog by June.

Started gutting the doors, I'm surprised how much they stuffed in these doors. Got the manual mirrors on, plan on pulling crash bar out and doing manual window regulator. I'd like to thank Justin (Twisted) for the manual mirror.

Did some research found valve spring are garbage so ordered some springs. Figured what the heck may as well do some 1.7 RR too. Before too long my $90 head swap quickly turned into $600.

Don't wanna get rolled on by a stock LT1, even if this engine is temporary. LOL
 
Kinda fun starting a project thread isnt it? Got one hell of a good start with a solid car and a nice cage! Now get to work.
 
Went to put the roller rockers on and found that the pushrods are too short. They work fine w/the factory stamped ones. Does anyone know what length pushrods I need w/this setup? Crane Cams 44746-16 is the part.

Another question, I thought the blue top injectors were 24lbers. Now I've heard they can be 36lbers too. How can I tell what I have? This car runs really rich and the fuel pressure sits at 38psi at idle.

Found out hard way power door panels won't fit manual window regulators. Ebay hunting I go.
 
Good eye, that's actually my old man's house. He welded up the firewall for me.

The white coupe was my old one I bought off a member on here. AZ 4 cylinder car. Sold it to my dad. He's in the process of a 460 swap.
 
Yeah it'll be nice not having a car that's not too nice. Tired of parking at the back of the lots all the time.

Got my cage painted. Hope to have interior in it soon.
