Couple things done today. Fully mounted the intercooler and got one side of the cold side piping done.

Well I got all the hotside ceramic coated and also heat wrapped. Then installed everything, after installed I was letting the car run outside to burn off all the new heat wrap. Ehen I started to hear the lifters start to clack. Looked inside and the oil warning message came up. Checked the oil and it was good. The damn oil pump took a shit. So now I will have to pull it apart and put a new pump in. I figured I will install a cam with matching springs and timing set while in there. Sucks to have to do this but it is just my luck. Here is a pic with it back together.

are you gonna put a screen or filter on the intake???

call me old fashon but header wrap is so badass looking. cant wait to see how it performs, I know a guy on the west side of state who has one with a junk yard block and dyno'd over 800hp

I am going to use a screen. I bought a filter as I initially had the turbo a little closer to the engine, but the bends to the turbo would have been to tight so now the turbo is only about 1" away from the headlight area. Really sucks but its where it is and I don't plan on redoing it. I need to save up a little more cash to pick up the cam kit and get this thing back together. I am only thinking 500 RWHP with 8 psi but I may be high on that guess.

Looks good. Only question is how do you plan on changing the plugs? It looks like you'd have to take at minimum the downpipe off to get at them from the bottom.

You are correct, and yes its a pain in the ass. A couple of the plugs are accessible from above without any issues but the front two are impossible without removing the downpipe. I could not find a way around this issue because of the tight space.

With some cam... 500rwhp will be a good starting point! How many miles on this car? Bad oilpump is pretty random don't you think?

I have to keep telling myself that this is the wife's car and she does not need 500+ hp, but I cant help myself. The car has over 100k miles, I have heard a lot of problems with these oil pumps cracking the drive gear. I think it happened when I put the pass side coil connectors on backwards and I had several start ups in the freezing weather with the engine kicking back when trying to start it. thinking with the thick cold oil and the engine kicking back the pump gear broke, or at least that's what i'm hoping. I will find out when I get the pump pulled out.
