Project Ressurection

Got the deck lid on and fitted perfectly. It took me about an hour to get everything back together and lined up/gapped correctly. Installed new weather strippingand new lock on the trunk. I will get some better photos with the wifes camera tomorrow and upload them for those who want to see as we move along. Gonna grab a set of 03/04 Cobra OEM rims for it. I am thinking about getting the fronts cut and welded to a 4" rim. Not sure anyone around here has these rims with that done but I think they will look killer on it with some drag radials mounted.

Oh and I hate black vehicles!

K member and tail lights on. Took about two hours to clean, wax, and repiant the black on the tail lights today.

Did you buy headers yet ?? Just thought i would mention that the Dynatech conversion headers don`t fit when you use the t z k with his ls motor mounts....So maybe the Kooks conversion headers might not work......heres the fix and there $69....they move the motor back .900

These ls motor mounts makes it so you can use the Dynotech headers and the steering shaft will now clear by 1/16...

The paint looks killer, good job guys.

Weldcraft will usually only get an OEM 9" wheel down to 5.0 -6.0" depending on how much you want to spend (lots of welding required)..... Even at 5-6" they still look killer, plus you can buy aftermarket replicas in a 10.5" for the rear right out of the box (have them on my 03).

Let me know if you want to buy some OEM 03/04 cobra satin 17x9s. My old rears are sitting collecting dust.

I have a killer deal right now on a set of 4 17x9 rims. Do you have any pics of your 10.5 on your car??

Caster/camber plates in, brakes and spindles mounted and hung on the car, along with the strange struts and coil overs. lol I will get pics here very soon. Just been busy.

Not any good ones.

You probably want shots of them on a coupe, I start vacation tomorrow at 5pm and should have some time to toss them on my brothers coupe.

BY who?? Im gonna give Dave a shot at making his K work with this pan. Maybe these will work?????

The only way to make your f pan work with the z k is to move the fire wall back about 1 inch or inch and a half........but now your going to have problems with the steering shaft again.......I`m thinking that Dave can`t fix the problemss by making new motor mounts so he would have to make a new jig for the k-member.....

Some guys have gotten lucky with the Kooks headers working but they still had to grind the steering shaft and or dent the header.....and this is without moving the motor back .900 .....But this still is not going to fix your $600-700 oil pan problem..

That bwould be awesome if you would do that for me.

School me please.

If your putting the battery in the trunk...... you need this allstar cable kit part# all76110

Allstar main power on/off switch.....

If your going to use a elec. fuel pump you want Jegs relay kit 10564

If your alternator is a 130 amp or close you need a 150 amp circuit breaker...ebay.....$15 u will see mine on the side of battery box...

You also need to get a headlight harness and taillight harness.....a aftermarket harness is not going to have all the right plugs...you should also get the harness thats under the dash with the fuse panel.....this would be the cheapest and easiest way to wire your car......theres nothing wrong with a mustang harness and there easy to figure out and mount.....you don`t need the engine harness or computor...if your car has power windows and locks your going to need that harness also.....which is part of the under dash harness....
I think i have a extra headlight harness..

If you need any help or have any questions let me know..

I have the taillight harness in the car, I think thats the only wiring in the car at this point. Power locks manual window car. I will need a headlight harness at some point.
