Well the flavor of the week out in the garage this time around is Johnny's 1999 'Vette its not the first time this car has been around and I always love working on this one. There is a much bigger project on our hand with this one then we have gotten into in the past. Johhny ordered up a set of widebody quarter panels with the intention of running a 345 drag radial out back, I will let him pop in and add any details, He asked that I put a project thread together so I figured I would just get something started.

Here are a few pic's for viewing pleasure.

Initial test fit of the quarters, fit pretty decent but with any fiberglass panel they need some work

Got some body work rollin getting them nice and straight, ready for primer

Should be pulling them back off in the next few nights to get them primed and blocked up.

Thanks Kev,
If you're wondering about the rear wheels.... the ones for the car are off and at Weldcraft right now getting 2" added to the Lips. After that the 345/30/19 Nitto NT05R's will be mounted to them

We will never agree on anything!
345's would leave sweet marks if I could spin them.... I didn't even have a traction problem before with the 305 street tires..... lol

hoping to get the rest of the body work wrapped up on the right side tonight to get them off and get them ready for first prime. I'll try to add some more pics tommrow

does anyone else see a problem with going with a bigger tire here? lmao jk jonny.

you just need one of them spinny things. that will make some tire smoke

Kevin told me to swing by last night to check on some progress. Drivers side fender was off and almost ready to go for paint. Passenger side was getting very close as well. He also was about all done fixing the crack in my door. Will keep you posted!

Thanks for the interest! I stopped by Weds night and the flares looked ready for paint, the door crack was all fixed and ready for paint as well. Should be having the paint and body stuff wrapped up shortly and ready to go.

The wheels I was told would be 2-3 weeks to get done and as of today it has been 2 weeks and 2 days so any day now on those!!!

Getting closer, will have some more pictures up here I'd expect once paint starts flying
