I just picked up this 77 Mustang II Mach 1 from California V-8 Auto all orginal, plans are to make her and old school street racer like I used to have back in my high school daysWP_20140701_004.JPGWP_20140701_006.JPGWP_20140701_007.JPG

Dude that is frickin SWEET! Growing up in the cruddy years of the 70's (post gas shortage) the Mustang II was the first Mustang I ever noticed. Probably because of Charlie's Angels (Jaclyn Smith was my fave angel). I have an unusual appreciation for cars from that era. The Mach I is the best looking of the group and I really dig the one you found. The color is great.

Keep us posted on the build. It's awesome as it is now but you will only make it "better".

Nicest looking stang of that body era. I like cobra hood scoop and those cars look much better with wider tires.

Man, what a find! I love the interior, kinda reminds me of my old 80 pinto.... ahhh, I miss that car.

The plan right now is to make her reliable so we can cruise for the summer, buff the paint up, 2-2 drop, and figure out a cool tire and wheel package. A buddy of mine stoped by today and we gave everything a good going over while my girl cleaned the interior after looking at the paperwork we found in the glove box and a underhood inspection this car does not have 117,000 miles on her like the owner stated she only has 17,000 miles on her there is way to much oem stuff under the hood like the alternator, ignition box, voltage regulator, plug wires and all of the cap style lug nuts are oem with no damage to them ! And we foud all the smog test paper work with the registrations that backs this up also. For 5g Moneypit you can find out !!!! LOL !

Yeah, this car is SIC clean and original. Damn I love western cars, they're so dry. Interior cleaned up NICE! Can't wait to go for a spin.

I have a dual plane intake for that if your interested

I wonder how it would look with a DOHC 4.6 from a markVIII under the hood
