How I found it. Them "Redneck boys" in the back ground wanted to put it on a Suburban chassis.

After some cleaning, new brake booster, master cylinder and some new (used) wheels. This is the first time it's moved under it's own power in six years!

How it sits now. No motor, trans or paint. It's gonna end up at Carl's (SlickStang) place for a fresh coat of gloss black. Bumpers and wheels will also be gloss black and all the trim will be satin black.

Motors done and waiting to go back in when I get the chance.

Hoping to have it done by the begining of summer.
I'll post more pics as progress allows.

Very cool! and you saved it from a fate worse than death...... Hillbilly 4-wheeling'. LOL I love those cars. What a classic. And they look bad ass in black. Are you going to keep the vinyl top? Also, what is that coating on the exhaust manifold? Pretty nifty!

It looks to have a brand new vinyl top on it.

The top is new. Had it installed before it goes to paint.

The manifolds are done in Ceramic. I didn't bother smoothing em out cause they have sheilds that go over em.

Another shot of the trans......
