Project Lincoln is in full effect!

Hah....'bought a '61 Sedan Deville and sold the Lincoln a couple of months back. Had the gas tank cleaned / sealed and the radiator recored. This needed MUCH less work than the Lincoln. But, I still miss the suicide-doors.

I need to get some better pics now that the weather is decent and I've had the car putzing around town, but here's a few when I got it home:

Keep me posted on the radio endeavor. I actually scored a spare radio for way cheap, so I might send that one off to get an FM transmitter and AUX input.

Very cool!
Radio went out yesterday.
I'll let ya know whn I get it back.

Got the radio back from Gary he did a great job with it! He did the stereo conversion with a USB port for me.
I'd recommend him to anyone.

Awesome! Do you retain AM as well? And, did it run around $400, all in? I don't think I'll be getting this done this year, but it's still on the short-ish list.

Hope to see the car out this year!

$535 total. He had to rebuild some of the internals before he can do the upgrades. Mines a Town and Country and for whatever reason, they're a pain in the ass to work on.
As for being out this year, not gonna happen. I'm in the middle of two deck projects and I'll be moving my shop in about a month.
Next summer, I promise!

Well, despite "life," it's great to see you still making progress on the car. It's going to be a looker when it's all said and done!

I gotta tell ya, I hooked up a small amp and a single 10" woofer today, this thing sounds pretty damn good! I'm not gonna win any competitions or anything, but for a cruiser I'm very happy with it.
It was worth every penny! Thanks for the heads up.

Front bumper's back on. Waiting on the new rear bumper to come in, get it shot in black and send the car back to Carl for final body panel fitment and a final rubbing!
Slowly gettin' this pig back together!
