Hello guys the comet has been laying low for the last year and a half getting some new found power. I sold the Vortech V1 and caught the turbo bug. After some reading and researching I sourced a Garret TH08A64 unit off a 12v92 Detroit Diesel. The engine setup is a 351w sportsman block, forged internals 8.5.1 compression, trick flow heads, single plane intake setup for EFI to a 90mm ford racing t-body. I fully fabricated all the fab work myself so go easy on me. The goal is to make 750-800hp to the ground on 100% corn juice. Power will go through a Tremec 3550 with a McLeod RXT clutch to an Explorer 8.8 with a 3.27 gear. Also I upgraded the brakes from cobra's in the front and stock explorer's in the rear to 2015 Mustang Premium brakes. Which consist of 4 piston ford calipers and 14" rotors on the front and a giant single piston caliper and 13" rotors in the rear.
