Project: Her car

I know were a nice 347 that would like like some boost is. Keep it n/a for now then when she whats to go faster just put a turbo on it.
 
Lol see Keith even when Im trying not to get carried away I have all these outside influences. You guys are trying to get me in trouble already lol. She told me she don't want to go fast, maybe in the 12s. Im thinking a nice cam for the sound and some heads just to make it easier to make power. This year is getting it reliable for her and looking nice. Next winter will be the horsepower. I still have to sell a few cars to make room and free up some money. I'll be posting up some questions in the tech forum when I get home so if all you Ford guys can help me out I'd appreciate it. Im new to 5.0 efi.

I was told it has a 3.73 posi in it. I'll find out when I pull the cover and change the oil in it. Matt I need a speedo cable for it. You have one or can you order one from work? 91 5 speed car. Thanks

Let me see what I can find.
 
No need to take the cover to find out the gear. Rotate the driveshaft and it will turn 3 and 3/4 turns to the tire one if a 373. If 410 it will be 4 turns and so forth

Yeah I know lol but I'm going to change the fluid anyways. When you going to set up your voicemail :D I tried to call you to talk to about your old combo and those heads you have
 
Good deal Chris! Let me know. Im trying to get it back running right this week. Found the intake bolts weren't torqued down but to about 10ft.lbs. and not the 25 that is recommended. About 1 turn on the bolt. Hope that if the fix
 
I'll look around for a bit. I have so many odds and ends laying around my garage from random cars I've owned.

Really think you need to pick up some 19lb injectors and a new maf though ;) Or pick up some cheap heads :D
 
I traded the 30's and maf for some 24's and maf. I would like to do some heads for it but can't put any money into it right now till I get the changes done on the other mustang. This one may end up finding a new home once I get it running right. Just not enough time and $$ right now to do what I want
 
Yeah once I sell a few cars and get me an enclosed trailer then I'll buy her a turn key car. It'll be cheaper in the long run, unless she's still wants that Z06 vet lol
