We picked this up for the wife. As of now its your plain jane lx but it's get a very slow transformation to a summer toy for her. Just a bunch of bolt ons and some new paint down the road. I think it was a pretty good deal with all the extra stuff he gave us with it

MIke, is it the photo or are the frame rails by the strut tower rotted out? No biggie if it is as it can be fixed.

Looks like a nice car!! I have some TW heads that need some repair if your interested.
 
Nice car! :thumbsup: It's always cool to have a girl that'll come play rather than sit at home and bitch about it later! :)

On a side note i hope there's no rust around that sunroof. If there is it's a lot of work to fix (new roof skin). I learned that lesson the hard way with my 88 LX i had.. spend $4500 on a paint job and body work just to have the rust come back around the sunroof 6 months later. I had it fixed again and it started all over another few months after so i sold it.

Not rotted but starting to get ugly. Hoping we got it in time and it wont be that big of a deal to make right. No holes on the car but just bubbling.

Thanks Mike! The sunroof area is perfect. Like I stated above. I'm hoping we got the car just in time to save it from getting real bad. All the floor are in good shape with just some surface rust.

That's the first thing I saw too !! Dam Michigan mustangs all seem to be going bad there.

It's a 5 speed. She says she can drive a stick but racing one is a different story so will see how long itstays as a 5 speed. And yes it will stay an SBF :( lol
