Also, please keep in mind that this is a race car. The engine compartment is going to be abused. So the amount of work that is going into making this a show piece on that end is being kept to a minimum as far as smoothing goes.
 
Looks awesome Ryan!! And by the way, it's a STREET car! But you're right, the engine bay will take a beating with normal maintenance.
 
I'm just really trying to save our friendship. After seeing the golf cart video. I'll focus your paint budget on areas that you and jeff will spend the least amount of time around. I don't need to show up to the track and see wrenches being tossed on the engine bay I just spent weeks sanding and reshaping. That would probably be my breaking point.
